Hi. How do I join the game?

Hello, and welcome to STSF. Joining is simple. Simply click the "Schedule" Link on the top of the page, and look for a Starfleet Academy to join. They are located at the Startrek.com chatroom. In the Holodeck. Follow the instructions of the GM (Game MAsters, hosts) and do you post. But before joining academy, I strongly reccomend reading the "Help" section, located at the top bar first. Doing so, will familiarise yourself with STSF and how to play, and will most likely result in a quicker graduation. (Worked for me). Once again, welcome to STSF and good luck. :ph34r:

Thank you for your information Seiben. So this is a text-based game? Kind of like that old game Zord-whatever yeah? That was a text based roleplaying game.

Basically like online acting... so no need to worry about stage freight. lol

 

You might see something like this:

 

BluRox: :::plotting and schemeing to take over the universe with her magic dice::: Hey Ensign Redshirt! You've got the bridge. I'll be in my ready room.

Redshirt: Aye sir! :::moves over to the command chair and has a seat as BluRox leaves the bridge:::

BluRox: ACTION>> Ship goes boom after Redshirt sits down

 

(I'm just kidding, Blu is a great GM. Only blows the ship up every now and then. Me on the other hand... everyone dies if I am running the show. LOL.)

Take a look at the rest of the pages in the Help section. :D They'll get ya started at least on playing. Then all you have to do is show up to an Academy! We have some great GMs who would love to help answer any questions you have and get you involved in playing.

P.S. Blu realy does have a set of magic die (funny their called die) that tend to mame people ::rubs shoulder from last encounter with magic dice..:: dang Klingon daggers, not that I didn't have it coming :ph34r:

Actually, if you consider the etymology, if you say "dies" it can easily turn into "dice."

You have 2 leg holes in underwear and it sounds better. The Armpits and Leg pits is simple for it you notice you armpits they well make a pit indent and if you look between your legs......Rest of post lost :ph34r:

That's too bad. :ph34r: Star Trek simming is usually always a blast. I'd encourage you to attend a few sims before you judge it entirely. You never know, you may get hooked like the rest of us. :D

Any way don't give up yet...you have to remeber that the academies are for beginners who are learning, so it may be slow. Also depending on nights and some academies may be slower than others. Maybe you should check out the various advanced simms to see what you would be working towards. Keep in mind that not all advanced simms are alike :ph34r: And if you don't check, thnks for checking us out :o

Because English is screwy like that.

 

You also have a pair of pants, which is a singular entity (in my opinion), but you put each leg into a pant leg.

 

Hmm...one could also assume that underwear is too general a word for what you're thinking of. After all, a bra is considered underwear. So are boxers, briefs, panties...and you'll note that those three are all referred to in the plural. A pair of panties. A pair of briefs.

I might stop in again sometime if I'm bored one night. I've done a little bit of roleplaying before, though not on the internet.

 

Sorry if I offended anyone. No mean to badmouth your game. I was alone in my "department" that game and didn't get to interact with anyone much.

There was no offending we just love newcomers and hate it when they leave. You will get bored sometimes but not that often only when you're new because you don't know what to do when you're not spotlight but you'll get better and it will get more fun :)
