Current Mission Update


Following recall orders to Sector 001, the U.S.S. Reaent arrived in Earth orbit on October 1st, 2391. The ship completed removal from active service and decommissioning on October 8th, 2391 (Stardate 1510.08).

The Starfleet Corps. of Engineers is scheduled to begin the de-fueling and deactivation of the ship in December 2391. Material and gear are scheduled for systematic removal throughout 2392 for reuse on other vessels.

With a few resource personnel exceptions, final crew transfers are expected to be completed by February 2392 prior to the ship's transfer to the SCE. It remains undetermined if the vessel will be transferred into the control of the Starfleet Defense Reserve Fleet (SDRF) due to extensive structual damage to the primary hull.

De-fueling and deactivation procedures are expected to be completed by the end of 2393 or first quarter of 2394. Announcements regarding plans beyond this date are pending.
