Aaron had just seen Admiral Gardner tear into Lt. Montague in Engineering, and Moore knew it. Now he was sending the tactical officer to do the dirty work of escorting the admiral to his quarters.

 

"Why me?" Aaron asked himself, fuming inside. There was a weapon pointing from the planet, the ship could be in danger, the team on the planet needed help, but all Aaron got to do was escort an admiral. He could tell Moore was in a lot of stress over having Gardner on the ship, but there was also animosity and a twinge of hatred.

 

Whatever it was, Aaron hoped the Captain would settle, because this getting on his nerves.

 

"Admiral this, Admiral that," Aaron thought, "Oh boy!"
