You know, working in Starfleet sometimes brings you to the strangest places, and brings the strangest things to you. Right now I'm in charge of figure out what this "thing" from the Romulan ship Vacitu is. We're assuming that it's the weapon used to destroy the Versailles Diplomatic Center, but we can't get inside it to take a closer look at how it looks. Figures, the Romulans never make anything easy.

 

No doors, no access points, no seams. We cannot find a way into this thing conventionally. Right now, 1st Lt. Rieve from the Marines is blasting away at this thing, trying different angles and power settings. Tedious, yes.

 

Getting away from this whole mess, I'm worrying about the Trill Guardian who met me back on Earth in the VDC. He's fine allright, but I've been putting off my zhian'tara for a long time now. I hope I'll have a few hours when the Agincourt returns to Earth, if she returns to Earth...
