Who is your closest neighbor?

OK, you know what? I live in San Jose, CA. I thought the people in STSF who were closest to me (physically at least) were Precip (Southern California someplace) and Lebowski (I think somewhere near Sacramento). I am told there is a past STSF simmer on the Qob who lived the next town over but he left the sim before I could ask him.

 

It turns out that there is another simmer, Ensign Craz, who lives only a few miles away from me, just on the other side of town!

 

So who is your nearest STSF neighbor? Where are you all from?

I'm from Toronto, Ontario (formerly the Town of Scarborough, but Scarborough, along with East York, North York, York and Pickering all merged with the city of Toronto on the 1st of January 1997 to become the megacity of Toronto, these former cities and boroughs are now part of Toronto).

 

Anyways, my STSF neighbours are Tovan, who lives somewhere in downtown Toronto, Tachyon, who I believe lives in Thunder Bay 4-1/2 hours north of Toronto, and Cougar who I think lives near Toronto as well. (King?). Otherwise, I'd have to go with Jorlis and Random who live way down in New Jersey. Oh yeah.. I forgot about Andrew Lyon who lives in Montreal, six hours away from me.

I'm from Chicago. The closest person that I've met is 1 1/2 hours away (name omitted to protect the innocent), but I know there are others in the area. In the old days, about 1/3 of the Arcadia crew either lived out here, or had a reason to cruise through town often. Other than Shore Leave, I don't see as many people face to face as I used to.

 

As fun as this topic is, please be carefull about how much personal information you reveal about other members. : ) I would let folks reply on their own rather than "outing" their home locations.

I seem to relocate every two or three years so while some people may think I'm in their general geographic area, it's a good bet that I've moved on to a new location. Currently, I'm in The Peninsula of VA.

I can definitely confirm that person is no longer innocent after meeting you Moose. ;-)

 

I used to live 1 1/2 hours away from Chicago, however, I have relocated to Florida. I live about an hour northwest of Orlando. Love it, Florida is great. Illinois is great to, but the warmer weather in what I used to consider cold months is great.

Yes, I am in Northern Virginia, near DC (I drive there every day).

90 minutes from Sketti (because of the dumb highway system in VA), 3 1/2 hours from Dac, 2 hours from Murray, 3-4 hours from NDak.

I'm in the middle of Connecticut, easy driving distance to some STSFers in MA and fairly close to some STSFers in NYC. (There's a lot of us on the East coast).
