Hello to all. I'm totally confused about the whole sim thing, but I've read the rules and plan to read more. So, you'll be seeing me around. For some reason I've had a difficult time finding actual Star Trek chat rooms and this seems to be the closest to what I'm looking for. Happy to be here!

This is a bit out of date and you may not read it....but...

 

Welcome aboard. I sympathize with the simming being confusing...all those words rapid fire on the screen is tough to visualize as a crew going about its business. Just watch the things people say who are near to you, and type your words and actions out, and you should be fine. Any way, the tips from Moose are better than me trying to paraphrase. Hope to see you somewheres around here, enjoy the experience.

Excessive typos and crazy nonsensical punctuation are clearly common sim conventions
