Mad HaXor Skillz

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

a log by Lt.Jg. Aaron Westler, Tactical Officer

Aaron sifted through the the pile of rubbish Sergio and Grey had left him after taking Nagen into custody. He was supposed to find a hidden transporter in this mess?

Crossing to the former captain's desk, he pushed aside some old books, looking for anything that couldve been a console. What he did find was a charred piece of metal, and a few wires sticking out. "They blew away the whole screen?" he muttered to himself, sighing, and digging in his kit for a screwdriver to open up the fire-proof casing of the console.

5 minutes later, he had the console's hard drive out of the casing, and jury-rigged to his personal PADD. He brought up his command-line...

----

>>PADDAaron>>connect_to HDPort:82

>>PADDAaron>>runas user:Cmdr_Crane cmd

Enter Verification: >>run HaXor.bat

Verification Correct.

----

Aaron grinned. His favorite batch file had worked surprisingly well. It seemed Commander Crane was foolish enough to use a short password. Now that he was in, his task was to figure out what the latest command lines and files were. A simple "rec_eventlist" did the trick.

----

>>Cmdr_Crane>>rec_eventlist

>initiate perfile56.cra

>initiate perfile28.cra

>initiate perfile47.cra

----

Rubbing his chin, Aaron backdoored into the latest of the files, perfile56.cra. It seemed as if Crane, or someone with his access code had been writing files like mad. All the files were pretty much the same, with only a few words and digits different in each file. He decided to be bold, and run one of the files. He tried perfile56.cra

----

>>run perfile56.cra

----

Aaron shimmered out of the captain's quarters, and onto the Achilles' bridge. Heads turned his way in suspiscion, and while he was grinning with success, he could only sympathize with them. It was a lot like the transmuters transporting in on them, and they believed the threat was over.

Nodding to them, he headed for the lift, to get back to the captain's quarters. Once there, he went straight back to the PADD, and picked it up. Working back and trying to remember as many of Quantus' and the other shapeshifters transports as he could, he made a best guess as to which file would transport him to Main Engineering. Why call the captain with the information, when he could deliver it in person?
