Smells like H'tiss

Kawalas, Daggerhead, Sargh, and others continued their interrogation of the alien ship captain. Those on the Meh continued scanning the void and the alien ship for any sudden moves and hoping to get some clue as to where we were and, more important, how to leave. We gradually learned that this void was some sort of slave pit for the H'tiss's more unproductive slaves.

Someone else from the alien ship, most likely the XO, attempted to contact us. We were still interrogating their captain and ignored their requests. During the interrogation we learned that this ship was part of a coalition of raiding ships who striped newcomers to this void of their resources. No doubt they would have liked to do the same to us but we were simply too powerful for them to handle. In fact their captain wondered if we were working with the H'tiss.

Being that they are part of a coalition they probably had friends waiting, so we took their XO off hold. Our visual showed that he was covered in... in... well, I wouldn't be mind-melding with him any time soon, that's for sure.

We wanted to find out what this Mr. Hankey knew, but we couldn't jam his communications with their other ships and at the same time allow him to communicate with us. We kept his channel open but we also fired a few disrupter bursts across his bow in case he had any ideas.

Our current plan for getting out of this pit is to observe what happens when the H'tiss deposit a new ship. It stands to reason that, even though we can't see out of the void, the H'tiss have the ability to see in. Cloaking ourselves would allow us to stay hidden from both the coalition as well as the H'tiss for their next deposit.
