Chell Reno Peronal Log

Dear Mother,

I know its been awhile since we've talked or written but now I'm trying to make up for the lost time. A lot has changed on the Excalibur since I joined nearly a year ago. One of which I am no longer serving on the Excal. I'm still serving with more or less the same crew but we can get into that later. We've had a new recruit for medical since the last time I've written. His name is Eagle. Nice guy, A little green and fresh out of the academy but he knows his stuff. The rest of the crew is still as quirky and fresh as ever and you never get bored with them around. "Friendly Folk" as Papa would say. I'm glad to have them as my friends and to serve with them. Oh! I almost forgot! You have probably already gotten the notice but I have been promoted to full Lt. I thought this day would never come but finally it has. I think the solid pips looks good on my collar and I enjoy wearing them. I hope I get to see you soon and show them to you.

Anyway I said before that we are no longer aboard the Excal. We were in a battle about a month ago with the Romulans. The Excal. was heavily damaged and a few of us manged to escape. When we arrived back at Camelot we were all assigned to the USS. Morningstar <Intrepid Class>. Its a nice ship but not very big. It figured this would happen though. As soon as I get my jg and a set of quarters to myself we get transferred to a ship that uses barracks. For about two weeks <If that> I had two rooms. A bed, replicator, table and chairs, and a console all to myself then ship gets shot to hell and I'm stuck in a barrack with 9 or 10 other people. Oh Well, it happens to the best of us.

I've got get back to work so I'll write again soon. I also may have some shore leave days coming up and I plan to spend them on earth if I get the chance. Talk to you soon mother.

Love You,

Chell
