“…reply appreciated as well as required…”. Kansas smiled wryly to herself about the chosen wording and glanced toward the center seat now occupied by Colonel Harper. If central command didn’t like her chosen wording, they would inform the Agincourt command staff, who would then inform Kansas. It was hard to avoid trickle down from your superiors once it started. Unless you had a REALLY big umbrella with its own shielding. Either way, she felt as if the gamble was worth it; they needed answers and they needed them fast.

The Agincourt had been deployed quickly in response to the terror attack. No briefings, only orders to pursue this Rihan ship that may or may not be responsible. With a mission that was such a shot in the dark, with so many variables in play, concrete facts needed to be pinned down. The Caitian placed the TAC console on standby. Taking her Padd with the current tactical updates for this sector, she moved toward the other officers on bridge duty, Sydney and EJ, who were conversing regarding their own areas of expertise. Their orders were to co-ordinate data with each other and find answers. Engineering was next on the list; hopefully Lt. Prell and his staff had some ideas regarding tracking whatever energy bled off of Rihan ships.

Kansas was just hoping that that shot in the dark didn’t nail them until they all knew what they were up against.

Lt.jg M’rrett “Kansas” JoN’s

Tactical Officer
