Now that it's over, I am more than a little sad.

Not because the movie disappointed - It was better than I ever hoped! - but because the anticipation is gone! Serenity has come and gone and I don't have anything else to look forward to! (Movie-wise, of course.)

I know where your coming from Laehval.

I became hooked on Trek in 1989. When I found out that Star Trek 6 would be out in theaters in 1991, I was really looking forward to it. I totally enjoyed seeing the film in the theater, and the adventure aspect was the best, but afterwards I did feel "let down" because the anticipation was over.

Serenity was *your* movie, something that you really are passionate about, waited for the film to be released, and now that the big event is over, you enjoyed it thoroughly, but two hours is so short.
