Bah, all my friends have turned me off to beer. I live in red neck country where a case lasts someone two days. It's forced me to prefer more sophisticated drinks.

Ever see a Russian drink vodka? Not exactly the height of sophistication there.

 

Two drinks I could never stand, and I don't really know why, is tequilla mixed and vodka straight. Reverse them and I am just fine so there is no logic to it.

Heh, my weekends usually start with 3-5 quick shots of Vodka with a good chaser. (Amount of shots and chaser depends on who I'm doing the shots with, and how the day's been) I spend an hour or two rather dazed, but by the time everyones good and drunk, I'm usually just starting to come off that buzz where, everythings fun, but I can remember it :(

Ok, since this seems to be a two part thread I'll start with the dating.

Both myself and my significant other Angie are both nerds and proud of it. We are into Trek, Wars, Galactica, we sim and talk about sci fi 24/7/365. We are also computer geeks, we oooooo and aaaaahhhhh when a neat new computer program or periferal comes out. So, yes geek/nerd and proud of it. Wouldn't date anyone but another nerd, non nerds have so much trouble understanding why I'm so into plasma inducers and compression rifles.

 

As for the drink, I have two favorates.

 

Jagermeister with a Killien's Red chaser.

 

And my own version of Romulan Ale. ( Long Island Ice Tea Glass, mix. 1/4 glass Blue Curacoa, equal portions of Vodka, 151 Rum, Everclear, and clear Taquila, shake and serve. One warning, don't serve in a styrophom cup, it will eat through the bottom of the glass, no lie. :(
