Shakespeare Trek

Heya, I was reading some of the news on the main star trek site like a regular geek when I saw that Patrick Stewart is returning to the Royal Shakespeare Company for 13 months to perform in a few plays. I realised, "this is brilliant!". I've been to Stratford Upon-Avon and seen the company perform a few times but now living in Birmingham for Uni I'll be really close! I think it would be amazing to catch Stewart on stage, he has such a dynamic voice, its brilliant. I will definitely see about booking tickets. What I was wondering was if any of you guys have ever caught him on stage, I've heard he is just the bomb.

I belive I've seen Kirk (er, Shatner) on stage (although it would have been kinda womby), and have heard that he was great. (granted, he's not Stewart, but if Shatner can get rave reviews for his acting in a play, Stewart already has the awards in his arms)

Anywho, I would find it very interesting to watch Stewart onstage. It is easy to see he was originally a stage actor, because of the amount of stage emotion he puts into his acting.

I remember that Brent Spinner (Data) played a role with Halle Berry on some hollywood play. I cant remember the name of it, or what he played, it was in an old issue of ST the Magizine, I'll go dig it out at some point...

Brent Spiner was in the show Sunday in the Park with George. I believe it was before he did ST. Anyway if you can find a tape of it you can watch him. Its kinda hard to find tho. I have seen him in that, but never in person.
