Log from 10/27

The following log is a joint effort of LtCdrBlurox and EnsDuzac. Enjoy!!

::the crowd teemed with bodies, all jostling to see just what was going on.  The flow of people was like that of the flow of the tides, pushing forward, shoved back some, and pushing forward again.  Blu and Duzac had never gotten close enough to thier party to find out exactly just what was going on, just within earshot to hear T'Kai yell to them, to let themselves be brought along.  Then they were separated again my the angry mob.  The red suited guards shoved them along, none too gently, to which both

she and Duzac began to grate.  Blu, to the point that her fur began to bristle within the costume she wore.  Someone in the crowd, threw a tomato, which hit her in the back. This set the crowd into a bit of a frenzy, throwing what ever fruits and vegetables they had available. Luckily for Blu and Duzac, their aim wasn't too good, most of the objects missing, or hitting the guards instead. However, Duzac, with his tremendous height, seemed a popular target. He was soon covered with lettuce, kale and

other greens. Fortunately, the area had been cleaned up for the festival, and the crowd didn't have access to what they might normally find on the ground here, as there were way too many people to have any horses or cattle trailing through.::

::Blu tried to wipe some of the tomato from her dress, and only managed to get it all over her paws.  With dismay, she tried to shake it off, but was shoved again by the guard.  Turning to him, she wiped her paws off on the front of his jerkin, only to have him cuff her in the head. She stumbles to the ground, hissing out a pained

" Yeowww!" ::

:: Duzac makes a move at the offending guard that is now trembeling in Duzac's shadow. With no buddies racing to his side to support him,  the guard realizes he may have bitten off a little more than he can chew and panics. With a few swift moves, Duzac had managed to  unclasp his armor and robe.  Duzac, with a mighty tug, disrobed the guard.  As the crowd laughed and pointed, the guard, not too comfortable in his birthday suit, ran off towards the castle.::

::Responding to the disturbance, another large group of guards push their way through the crowd, and help the other guards subdue the two troublemakers. More pushing and shoving ensues, but again, they push on after the other group. Blu turns to Duzac, as the enlarged group of guards, led the two towards where they had seen the others going.::

"Duzac, remind me, that if I live through this, that I'm going to *kill* T'Kai!" ::Blu snarled.::

"Kill? T'Kai? We were the ones that allowed ourselves to be put in this situation, the shame is ours to bare. Do not blame T'Kai because of our lack of preperation. Is he not in the same predicament we are?  ::Duzac hopes Blu was being sarcastic::

::Blu rolls her eyes at him, and begins to mutter to herself first about new ensigns, then, about never, ever, taking shoreleave again, at least not with her crewmates. She had never gotten in so much trouble as when she went off with them "for fun". Well, maybe once, she conceded to herself, but this was an ongoing thing here, almost too predictable anymore.  That last escapade on Terra, where they had left her with that guy Vinnie, the planet with the cloned Kel's, the ride through San Fransico,

looking for T'Kai's slurpee-thing.  Uh-uh...never again.::

:: Duzac's mind begins the quest for a way out of this mess, but we don't yet have enough information about or captors. We had better get it fast!::

::Looking up before them, they see that they have arrived at the base of a dark tower, and that the rest of the party is also there, looking up at the dark ediface.::
