10/06/96 Welcome back? pt1

Subject: 10/06/96 Welcome back? pt1

Date: Thu, Oct 17, 1996 9:32 PM

From: LCdrBlurox

The following log is a joint effort of Lcdr Marak, Lcdr Blurox, and Erinna M.

::Blu began powering down the ships' impulse drive as she felt the pull of the tractor beam latch onto the small ship.  She had had to make some really tight manuevers, so as not to be totally disabled by the shots the Republic was taking at her.  She cursed at the choice of wiring that she had earlier made, not realizing it connected with the communications system. Thus, she was unable to identify herself to the Republic.  But what really made her angry, was the fact that they had fired upon her,

without her firing first, and before the option of a tractor beam was used.  She began pondering just who was at Tactical, when a sudden realization came upon her....Lt.jgDay, had been left in charge, while they were gone. Well, she would just have to have a talk with this overeager "Ensign", if she had her way!!"  As the ship approached Shuttlebay 2, she continued to toy with the communications systems, until she was finally able to get a message out.::

+Com+ Republic, this is LCdrBlurox aboard the Talesian. Hold your fire, I am coming into your shuttlebay, powered-down and unarmed. The holo-imaging array is damaged, and is stuck in the view of an Orion trading vessel.  Our transponder reads as Non-aligned.  I have urgent news regarding the Captain....Republic do you read???  This is LCdrBlurox....::

::Blu sees by her console that the message has been received, but the ship was no longer receiving messages, possibly from the damage of being fired upon.  The ship alights into the bay, and the landing lights come up.::

::As soon as Shuttlebay two depressurized, Marak and a Security detail entered.::  "Sir, it IS the Taliesin," reports one of the security escort.

"Curious. Someone must have altered its transponder code." ::Marak turned to one of the security guards.::"Lifesigns?"

"One."

Erinna rushed into the Shuttlebay.  As soon as she had seen the ship and it's readings she had known that there could only be one person aboard it.  She didn't wait to hear the incoming message from Blu.  As she enterred the bay, she saw the door opening.  She didn't notice Blurox starting to exit, nor did she hear Blu's agitated assortment of Caitian and Galactic adjectives. Erinna fired right through the opening screaming all the time.  "Galadriel, you freak of nature!  You are the one responsible for

all my misfortunes.  You took my mother from me.  You gave me these abominations which I will carry all my life!  Now get out here and let me have my revenge!"

Everyone stood there in shock, watching as she fired at Blu and the ship.  Blu had closed the door to keep Erinna from killing her.  "Don't just stand there and look at me!  Find me something that will cut through this hull!  I want the person inside of this tin can!"

Marak was the first to react to her actions.  Quickly he moved up beside her.  "Erinna..."  He brushed against her mind and she flinched.  "You are a Vulcan.  You must allow that side to take control."

"I'm also an Orion and that man is responsible for what I am."  With that she turned once more to those around her looking for an opening to the ship.

Seeing that Erinna wasn't about to stop, he reached over and applied a Vulcan neck pinch, catching her in his arms as she slumped.....  Marak turned to the Security guards and turned her unconscious form into their care.  "Get her to sickbay.  I'll be along shortly."

Once the shooting had stopped, Blu waited a reasonable length of time.  Once she was sure that it was safe, she opened the shuttle door and exited.  "Are you quite well?" Marak asked.
