the answer is : CHEROKEE, or at least the anglosized version of it , in the native tounge

it means the first or primary people if you will........they were one of the first of the five recognised civilized nations that formed the iroquis confederercy before they became

over one million strong and migrated south and east........our lands ranged through over 14 states in the beginning.......... :P :)
