What happened to them?

I actually saw this somewhere else, but I thought it was an interesting topic and I'm borrowing it.

Has there ever been a Trek character that you speculated about after they left a series? Maybe a supporting character, or someone who had a guest appearance or two? This thread is where you can make up what happened to them, within reason. It can be as in depth as you want.

Example: I always secretly felt that Sito Jaxa (from TNG's "The Lower Decks") was in fact not killed, but that the Cardassians faked her death. She was kept for questioning and later rescued during the Dominion War.

Anyone else?

One of my favorite eps! I too often wondered what happened to her. My version is that Starfleet Intelligence got ahold of her and took her on as a full time agent.

As for other character stories? Need to think on that.

That's a good one Rana; I had forgotten about her. You should make up a short blurb about what could have happened after that.

I was just watching "Lower Decks" the other day. I think Sito was killed and everyone knew she was going to be. I think she was expendable in order to get that freaking Cardie across the border into his own space. If you watch closely, it almost seems like the entire senior staff knows she is going to die.

Two characters I'm sure I'm not the only one who misses, one is Thomas Riker. He was taken to prison and then what? Did he die there? Second is Ro Laren. She joined the Maquis, then what? One could only assume she was killed during the Dominion War with the rest of the Maquis... but an episode would have been nice.

Here's a possibility:

Thomas Riker -

Survived the destruction on Cardassia by being in an off-world labor camp. After the war he was released by the new Cardassian government and pursued Deanna Troi, only to find out she had married Will. Unable to return to Starfleet because of his repeated actions against it and the fact that he could still pose as Will Riker, he got a job as a freighter captain.

Anyone have a different version?

Hey there,

Actually, that's were nobels are a great thing. For example, I know many characters from TNG and other series are mentioned/part of the S.C.E. books. In addition, there have been other novels that helped to explain what happened to the characters.

Even looking at core persons, it won't be until the Star Trek: Nemesis - Special Edition DVD that we finally get to see the scene dealing with how Wesley appeared at the wedding, how Worf did the same and what happened to Beverly after the Enterprise returned to port.

Actually apart from the Wrath Of Khan ripoff battle and ending (which just makes me cringe like hell every time I have to hear Data say they're entering the nebula), I quite liked it.

Well, Robin Lefler met her mother, became a starfleet ambassador, and now has a 7 foot tall red man on her arm. Selar's husband had a heart attack during pon farr (I kid you not), she became very cold, but then met a Hermat, Burgoyne 172, who has two genders, and became pregnent. Shelby became captain of the U.S.S. Trident, and then admiral. They all served under Calhoun on the starship Excalibur.

M'Ress, a Cait from TAS, was caught in a time warp, mind raped, and later became CSCI on the Trident.

Oh, and Jellico's still a jerk.

for a more detailed history of the future, read Peter David's New Frontier series.
