Too Quiet

Things had been too quiet around here, and for some reason Kairi had been too. It all started with the Romulan uniform she found when they examined that shuttle. As soon as she saw the thing, question after question popped into her, and she just shut down from everything around her. This seems to happen a lot though. Everytime she loosens up, she runs into another barrier that makes her shut everything out.

 

Now Kairi sat on her bed looking at a picture of her family, and more specifically her mother. She thought about all the times she confronted her mother about her real father. "Why?" she asked. "Why can you tell me anything? Who am I?"
