Security officers log, Stardate 0507.25:

 

We're still lost 7 million light years from home in a strange universe. We're piloting around T'hiss space and hoping we don't run into any of them. I finished my reports in my office and went to the meH to do some routine scans. When I got there, Lagh N'eo was arguing with R'awl K'walus about Messner being in command. Random looked to me and asked me to shut him up. But, I've learned over the years of being on this ship that you don't step between two Klingon's in the midst of an argument. I stood and kept an eye on them though. K'walus warned the young warrior that he was treading on thin ice with her, but he kept up. She finally grabbed her dagger and stabbed the Lagh in the chest. I turned to start the ship incident report when I saw the Lagh grab his disruptor. I pulled my phaser and shot him. It was set on kill, so the Lagh disappeared in a flash of light. Boris turned and complimented my shot. He also asked to speak to me alone, so I motioned him to the lift to go to my office. Once there, he informed me that he was afraid something like this would happen. He found opposition from some Klingon's about joining the Empire and becoming a warrior. He was afraid something like that may be happening on this ship now that Messner had been made Hod. I told him I would take this to Messner and K'walus and talk to them about it. I thanked him for coming to me and he and I returned to the meH. Once there, I asked to speak to the Hod and R'awl alone. I hope we don't have another incident like N'eo's. I hate filling out death reports. More later.
