Blu> What the ...?  ::taking note of the situation:: Oh, forgot about you as well::looking at the bird.  Turning to Riker's tiger, who she had worked with before..she shooed her from the bed.::Come on you, back to your room.  If the captain catches you eating her bird, she just might have a new striped run to walk on. That's it, lets go:: as she got it out into the hall:: Now get going you..::gently setting the captains cat down next to it's food bowl..and seeing a small jar of treats, gives it

one.::I'll be back for you two in a moment. :: Manually closing the door, she herded the hungry tiger back to it's room and gets it something to eat as well. Manually shutting this door, and using a metal strip to lock it from outside, she returns to the captains quarters.  Opening the door, she is immediately greeted by a cacophony of screached and meows, until she gets them both fed.  Finishing, she re-shuts the door, and move to her office to find just how many other animals, she was going to have to

look after.  She would have to make a report on just how disruptive this was becoming.  Instead of helping take care of ships repairs, she was getting to play zookeeper.  Entering her office, she pulls out a pad of all crew and notes the high number of quarters that are marked as having contained a pet type lifeform.  Well, she thought to herself, let's hope that most of them were evacuated to the station.  With that, she picks up her tricorder, and starts to make a sweep of all residential areas on

Decks 2,3,7,8,9,11, 13,14, and decides to check the science labs as well.  Yawning as she goes, she finds quite a few animals who's person's were aboard the station already when the abandon ship order was given..and starts to make sure that they are all fed.  Hoping to finish soon, she contacts Cmd Chell::

 

Blu> *Cmd Chell* Blurox here..ship is secure..the life-form in question was the captain's cat.  I am now in the process of rounding up other of the crew's animals, and returning them to the proper quarters and seeing to thier well being.  I will be finishing in approximately 20 more minutes. Shall I return to the Bridge, or go see what I can help the engineer's with?
