Blu duty log 9607.22 pt 2

Subject: Blu duty log 9607.22 pt 2

Date: Sun, Jul 21, 1996 11:54 PM

From: LCdrBlurox

Making thier way through the tubes, they run into several of the other teams, and set up a cross-hatched search pattern, only focusing on the tubes surrounding engineering, the computer core, auxillary engineering and computer control, and a team in the tubes leading to the docking bay.  Continuing with the search pattern, Blu and the ASec run into search team Gamma, who wave them towards them.

ASec Gamma1> Sir, we've found  foriegn substances a tube, 2 decks below the main computer core.

Blu> Foriegn substances?

ASec Gamma 1> Sir, we found a sand-like confection, and grain-type particles lying on the floor>

ASec Gamma 2> Oh, for cripes sake, Ben...it was crumbs, from a bagel, onion if I

have my guess, and cinnimon sugar, a from a donut perhaps.  Foriegn substance my..

Blu>  That will be enough.  I can't believe that they have the gall to actually take time to stop and eat.  I want these tracking teams doubled.  Let's move...Now!!

::moving on once again, listening carefully with her ears pricked, she could only pick up abnormal noises made by the ship, and by the boots of the Lt. that was accompanying her.  They stopped every now and then to take tricorder readings, but to no avail, until Blu noticed a trail of more of the bagel crumbs.  Which way to follow them was the main question.  Deciding to go to the left they ended up at , J-Tube 23 C.  At first, peering out, they didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, but then she

spotted more of the foodstuff crumbs on the floor, along with something that looked like spilled coffee, and a dirty napkin.  Quickly scanning, it did prove to be coffee, and Blu was raging.

Blu> They MOCK us, by stopping for coffee!!  Lt. go inform Lt.Cdr Kel, that she has had guest in the Thruster Relay system, and may want to check it out.  I'm going to follow this trail the other way..catch up to me as soon as you can.  ::not even waiting for a reply, she turns and follows the crumbs the other way. The trail eventually leads to the access panel for the back-up computer core, and notices potato chip grease on the cover, and on the tube walls going off in another direction.  Opening the

access cover, hoping to catch up to them here, but pretty much conceding that they were most likely gone, due to the chip grease leading off the other way, she looked down into the room.  Well, there was no mess here, and all the little lights looked as if they worked, perhaps they had left this room in a hurry, before they could do anything.  Closing the access panel, and going to the next, she stuck her head down and spoke to the officers guarding the outer door, telling them that she wanted one of

them up in the tubes, guarding the access panel against intrusion.  Heading off again, she was now following a trail of apple fritters. The Lt had caught up to her, and they continued to scan for food items, finally reaching a hatchway, leading out into a common corridor.  The trail had seemed to go cold from here.  They found themselves in a corridor that housed many of the more senior officers, but offered no apparent reason why here.

Blu>  They are most likely trying to blend in at this point, and will be attempting to leave the ship.  Let's head down to the docking bay, and see what's happening there.  I also want to send a message to the authorities on the Starbase, requesting that if they are found to be there, we want them held on charges of attempted sabotague, resisting arrest, will-full destruction of Star Fleet property, improper use of security clearance codes, and littering for starters.

ASEC> Aye sir..::and they headed towards the docking port.  Once there, they showed holo's of the two to the guards posted.

ASEC DB> Uhm, sir...I believe that I saw these two about an hour ago. But they weren't in work-crew clothing, they wore standard jumpsuits.  They did however, leave a slip of paper for the CENG, sir.
