::again exiting the brig, this time with Ensign Lynn, she takes time to look out the door, before just stepping out.  They both go thier separate ways, with Blu heading towards engineering, to check on the status of the search for the Delta team.  Wondering to herself, just why does this ship ever stop at Starbases, or even take shoreleave.  It was always a source of trouble for this crew and ship...the ship's motto should be "If there's ever trouble to be found, we'll most likely end up in the thick of

it."

Chuckling to herself, she walks up to the pair of security officers stationed just outside of engineering, and asks for an update of the search. The officers report that there had been sporadic sightings, but none had proven to pan out, however, they had recieved the requested verification of identities from Starbase 14, and handed Blu a padd.

It seemed that this Delta team was a subcontracting unit from the Daystrom, Mario & Union Company. Closing her eyes in disbelief , that of all projects for Star Fleet to start worrying about their budget, they chose this one. It seems that this particular team had absolutely no experience on vessels larger than cargo freighters, and spent most of thier time working on the station Work Bee vessels.  T'kai, it seemed, had good reason to have been upset.  There was also a CC of a memo to Star Fleet, and to

the Republic, requesting that charges be brought up against T'Kai for assault and destruction of property.  That was another matter that they would have to deal with once they had straightened everything out. Placing the padd into her pocket, she turned back to the guard at the door to engineering.

Blu>  Which areas have already been searched, and where do we have crew stationed?

Guard>  Main engineering, auxillary engineering, the auxillary computer core have all been thoughouly searched, and have crew stationed there.  We also have crew stationed at the door to main computer core, shuttle bays, and at the port docking bay.

Blu>  What about the Jefferies tubes?  Isn't that were we saw them head off to last?

ASec> Yes, but with the computer down, it is a virtual maze.  What's to say that they don't move back into a tube we've already cleared.  Normally, we'd just use force fields to shut the whole area down, but now..it's about useless.  We've got 8 teams searching now, but they could hide for days in there.

Blu> Well, we don't have days.  We'll just have to concentrate on the area's that they're most likely to hide, and my guess is that will be an area that they are familiar with, like engineering. Or at least, they think they're familiar with.  They are probally not that far away.  I'll head up myself, and take a look around.  Oh, and if a Lt.Cdr Darr should come looking for me..Tell him where I've headed, and ask him to just catch up to me at the beginning of the next Alpha shift.  With the computer

down, we have been unable to clear him yet anyway, he might as well, get himself settled in. Any thing else?

ASec> Well, engineering has reported that some of thier tools are missing, but another crewman may have them

Blu> Very well, stay alert, and have someone check with the docking bay, if they have seen anyone unusual trying to leave the ship ::Blu points to a  third officer across the way:: You, you're with me:: as she reaches up and climbs into the already opened hatch, into the Jefferies tube, the hatch reading J-Tube 18B.
