Captains Log Stardate 9607.19

 

The ship remains at Starbase 14 till the damage done by the upgrade Delta team is fixed.  I am awaiting full damage reports.

 

From what I can tell, Starfleet had tried to cut back it's budget by subcontracting out the Delta Team from the Daystrom Mario & Union Company.  Absurd as it is, the Delta Team has filed a complaint and seeking charges for damage to their equipment when the tool chest hit the consol. They are also asking for septoplasty and a blephoplasty for the damage done by the untimely meeting of a fist to their face.  I am waiting to hear Security's report on the subject.

 

Since the computer has been sporadic in regards to enviromental controls, I have asked the station commander to house the majority of the crew, till the ship is fixed.  Shore leave is granted for those personal not devoted to repairing the upgrade.  

 

Only problem about shore leave, I have just been informed by Starfleet that a convention is to occur on the Station. I really don't want to be here when it occurs. It seems as a token of good will, the Station has agreed to host the First Annual Ferangi Archeological Trade Show  Exhibition.   There are supposed to be around 20 Ferangi ships that have signed up to attend and 7 non-aligned ships.  

 

I hate to think we will be the only Starfleet ship docked.

Jael took a sip of her wine and mused.  "Maybe we can trade two Delta upgrade crew for a few holodeck programs. "

 

A loud crash occurs as Pendragon had knocked Myrridin's perch over.

 

"You know you two, I could trade in a cat or a bird. "   Jael stated. .

 

Suddenly the room grows quiet and Pendragon decides not to talk to Jael the next few days.  Jael mumbles something under her breath as the temperature dropped 20 degrees in her quarters.
