A Chance to Relax

It felt good to be back aboard the Agincourt. It was clean and sterile, compaired to the Klingon structures that Kairi had just returned from.

 

Kairi removed her mask and gloves and left them in a container to be dispossed of. She then headed out into the hall with the others, but instead of going to engineering, she went to her quarters to clean up. The Chief had her notes, so he didn't need her right away.

 

After entering her quarters, Kairi went into the bathroom and started up the shower. She then went back into the other room and removed her combadge and pip and placed them on her dresser. Once done, she then went back into the bathroom, took off her uniform, and stepped into the shower.

 

Moments later, Kairi relaxed as the warm water ran. She was already clean, but the water was so soothing that she just couldn't leave yet. There was so much going on in her mind, and this was the perfect moment to just unwind and forget about everything else.

 

Kairi wished this moment would last forever, but she knew it would have to end. Sooner or later she'd have to go back to work.
