Ensign Garnoopy Personal Log

Stardate 50210.18

Well, it's been an interesting first day on the Manticore. A great ship, she's absolutely beautiful.

Anyways, I arrived today and met the Lt. on duty in engineering, I can't remember her name, but she was nice and I'm glad to be working with her. Unfortunetly, the CENG was unavailiable, so I'll met him or her later, I have no idea who he or she is right now.

After I talked to the Lt. in engineering, I went up to talk with Commondore Atragon, who apparently is suspect for the murder of some Consoler or General, I can't remember who. I'm going to access some of the ship logs later to figure it out. Anyways, all I know from what I learned today is that we are attempting to find evidence to prove the Commondore was innocent, I have no idea what kind of evidence we're looking for, but hopefully we'll find it. The Commondore seemed like a nice guy, though from my one meeting I'm unable to tell if I believe he did or did not murder this person, I'll just have to work with him some more to find out what I think.

Anyways, I was informed that there was some damage to a shuttle in shuttle bay 2, so I headed down there. Oh my, it was shocking. I walked into the shuttle bay and my mouth dropped open. Half the shuttle bay door was gone, emergency forcieds in place, and teh shuttle Griffen was laying on the shuttle bay floor, looking as though it went through a war. I looked at the shuttle, and there is major damage to it. Hull cracks all over, which will take days to repair, and damage to the computer system along with half of the bio-neural cicuitry packs are burnt out inside of it. I have no idea what kind of idiot pilot flew the shuttle THROUGH the shuttle bay door, but it was a stupid stupid move. I mean, I'm not a pilot, but isn't the idea to make sure the door is open before you enter?

Anyways, I called a repair team in for the shuttle bay door damage, and that should be done in just a little while, but the shuttle is going to take at least a few more days. It's a pain to do. Personally I'm annoyed at the pilot for not treating the equipment better. Oh well.

Meanwhile, I've been working on my USS Enterprise-1701 D model, and I've spray painted the thing, and now I'm wokring on painting the different panels different colors. It's coming out wonderfully. Hopefully I'll be able to do the windows and details such as the escape pods later this week.

But Ganoopy, it so much more fun to have your teeth shaken loose by a quantum toredo shockway, come careening into the shuttle bay with your tail on fire and smash into the wall, and have medical scramble to cut you out of your jet.  How else was a I going to get to spend time with that cute new doctor? .... duh  ;-)

Good log, Ensign, but it's bad bad mojo to call this Cajun an idiot.  For starters, you get no beignets and chicory coffee, second -- I know voodoo  ::evil grin::

Computer, dim lights, cue spooky swamp music.

::sits down on the floor, and lights the incense burner. Sets out little items of Garnoopy's that she has aquired, an antique box of needles, and begins chanting::

You'd be amazed and what I can aquire, regardless of my current condition.  As for the hair and tissue samples, keep 'em.  You won't be the first to build a shire for me.
