Well, what movies will top your summer "OMG that rocked" list? Or, are you still questing just to get out side, and gain a little color to that pasty white skin or yours?

Personally, Episode III still tops my list. I just went and saw Land of the Dead last night, and while it was a good movie, like all of the other Dead series, I felt a little bummed. Mainly because I first saw the remake of Dawn of the Dead, with the running zombies, and now going to see Land, which features the staple shuffling zombies, it felt slower to me.

Still, George reigns as king of the zombie horror in my book, and it was great movie.

I am however, really looking forward to Serenity. I watched a few episodes of Firefly back when it was on, and I loved the feel of the show. I can't wait to see this one.

I too am eagerly awaiting the release of Serenity. When Space started showing episodes of Firefly, at first I thought it was weird--an SF show with a Western look? But eventually it grew on me and now I can't wait to see a continuation to the series. :P

The Fantastica Four looks like it will be a nice action movie but little more than special effects.

I've seen Mr. and Mrs. Smith and can say I did not like it at all. They took a slightly interesting concept, two name actors, and tried to make a good movie, but they failed horribly. The movie ends abruptly without much resolution, and I must say that I did not enjoy it that much at all.

Other than those, I don't know about many other movies coming out soon.

Hmm.. so far, my favourite summer movie is Revenge of the Sith, sure it was predictable and the acting was a bit off, but the Special Effects were amazing, and quite frankly, I have been waiting to see this movie for three years. I must say my $4.25 was well spent. :P But, I'm gonna to see Fantastic 4 soon with some friends, so I guess we'll have to see after that. :D

Serenity was pretty cool when I saw it on DVD...did I say that? I meant "wow I am so looking forward to that legally coming out!"

Too nice outside to go to the Movies you crazy people! Go outside and frolic in the beauty!

Well frolicing has it's limits at 35°C and a humidity that makes the air hardly breathable.

Besides the cinema has AC my appartment doesn't.

I cannot really comment on the movies since except for Episode III none of them has come out over here, yet.

That's easy for you to say.. Nova Scotia's such a clean place, and it's right by the ocean.. but for smog riddled cities like Toronto, where it also reaches 35-40 C, it kinda limits your ability to frolick. Though, I do agree the pools and beaches are the good places to be right now.

I totally agree with you Seiben. Since we're not really used to these temperatures we got no AC anywhere...I don't even have a fan. It's also a bit difficult to find a beach around here. The local swimming pool's off limits for me cos I'm allergic to chlorine. So I sit here and suffer and instead of sleeping I got plenty of time to sim at night...there are advantages after all.

Already looking forward to spending July and August in Montréal. Looks like I'll be spending those two months in the basement.
