::Blu and Vinnie made thier way on the Belt Parkway, with miraculous ease.  Blu riding with her head partway out the passenger window, Vinnie, constantly trying to pull her back over towards him.  Blu was fascintated by how smooth this vehicle handled, nothing like the fiasco in San Fransisco the night before.  The feel of the wind through her hair was exhilarating.  A starship may be much faster, but the feel of the velocity was never felt like this (unless of course, something was wrong, then you were

to busy trying to fix it, not enjoy it).  Watching the many advertising billboards they were flying past, one caught her eye.  In the distance, she saw a sign, with a picture of, well, she wasn't quite sure what it was a picture of.  It looked a little someone had morphed a holo of a human and a Caitian together, well, not quite Caitian.....but close enough.  It even had an uncanny resemblance to her freind Merrret, back at the Caitian Science Academy.  She had thought that this period of Terran culture

hadn't encountered extraterrestrials yet there was this, ...but what was that the sign said, as they drew nearer, she was able to make out the print....  "Live on Broadway, for a record breaking 5,000 show...CATS".  The rest of the information could not be made out, as the sign was worn and weathered.  But at least now, she had an understanding of why the others insisted she come, and why they were confident that she wouldn't be questioned.  She must be thought to be one of the the actors from the show.

Nice cover, Marak! she thought, I definetly owe him dinner for thinking this one up.

Vinnie reached over, placing a hand on her thigh and winking at her.::"Well, we 'bout ta Coney, babe. You ready to have a good time?" ::Errrika smiled back at him:: "Well, that's what I'm supposed to do when I actually get a night off, have fun. At least that's what my friends tell me.  What are these for?":: she said, as she reached a paw up towards the pair of fuzzy dice hanging off the mirror.::::

"Those, little lady, are da lucky dice"::Vinnie replied.    "Lucky dice?" said Errika with a questioning look on her face. "Do I take it that you consider yourself a gambler then?".  "You might say that", Vinnie said with a smile and a wink.

::Pulling off on a side street, they found a place to park, with Vinnie becoming a bit more amorous than Blu was comfortable with. She was still having trouble dealing with having to leave Thom a second time, and really wasn't ready for this type of social interaction.  And speaking of interaction, this guy gave a whole new meaning to the term paws!  Vinnie leaned over to kiss her cheek, "So how do you get this all off? I don't see no zippers or nothin'. And this fur-stuff tickles."   "Oh, it takes quite

awhile to get off, it is a whole body deal, you know.  Besides, my old boyfriend liked me just the way I was..fur and all" replied Blu, leaving out of course, that he was also Caitian.

"If it's a problem, or your embarrassed to be seen with me like this, we can go back and re-join my friends at the bar."  "No, No!! If you're ok with it, I'm ok with it, besides, it's a little kinky, ya know what I mean?" he replied with another wink, and not wanting to have his evening end early.

Errrika quickly, but smoothly wiggled free of his embrace, and started to open the door of the vehicle.  "So, are you going to show me around, before the sun comes up?"  "Why sure, lets go" he said, as he got out of his side of the car.  They closed the vehicle, and headed towards the lights down the street.  Hearing a loud rumble above her, Blu looked up, and saw a long vehicle rolling to a stop above her at a platform that read Stillwell Ave.  Vinnie seeing her look up, "Glad we had the car, I hate

riding the L out here." "It doesn't look too safe, does it?::Blu said, noting the rust, graffitti, and some shady types hanging around the platform.  "Gee, there's an understatement" chuckled Vinnie.
