This kitty don't like rat's.

Security Officer's log, Stardate 0506.14:

The alien woman was gone, after giving us as much information on the H'tiss and this area of space as she could. She told me of many of their weapons and tactics, including the composition of their body armor. She also directed us to an outpost where she said we could find more information and maybe some weapons. I went to security and replicated a H'tiss trooper in the body armor she described. He didn't look very intimidating to me. With the white armor plating and black eyes and mouth, he looked like no more than an evil snowman. I laughed to myself thinking this trooper should meet up one night with a drunk Naussican. I tried several settings on a compression rifle, then a Klingon disruptor until I found a setting that would pierce the plating. I also realized the troopers had a very distinct weakness. The areas between the plating was vulnerable. A good sharp bat'leth or mek'leth could slip very easily between the plating and into the troopers body. We arrived at the outpost and docked. This place was rough. The first few minutes we were there, a shopkeeper was shot and robbed. I met up with Hod Messner and told him what I had found out about the T'hiss troopers. He, Van Roy and Koralev entered a seedy looking cantina. I wandered over to an interesting shop and started looking at some nasty blade weapons. I asked the shop owner, a ratty looking being if I could find anymore interesting weapons on the station. He informed me that with enough currency, I could find just about anything. I didn't have any currency, so I decided to enter the bar with Messner and the rest to find some more information. The bar was broken down and rather dark. Rat's scurried about the floor. Aliens of all kinds sat, talked, drank, passed out, or fought amongst themselves. I walked up to the bar to find Messner and Van Roy talking with the bar owner. As they chatted, I scanned the bartenders cash drawer and found out the composition of the stations currency, very easily replicated. As I turned to tell the Hod, I noticed a group of aliens heading very quickly toward the bar. I pulled my phaser and fired at one, stunning him. The other aliens attacked Van Roy, Messner, and Koralev. They pulled there weapons and dispatched the rest of the attacking group. Rawl Kwalus entered the bar and yelled enough. She turned to confront an alien who looked like he was about to attack and started questioning him. I took the opportunity to talk to Messner about the currency problem. He didn't think it was a good idea to counterfeit, but suggested we take the money of the aliens who attacked us. I took the moneybag from the belt of the alien I had stunned, he twitched so I stunned him again. I dragged him out behind the establishment to a maintenance crawl way and placed him behind some trash receptacles. He'd wake up in about 13 hours with a massive hangover, and I'd be long gone.I peeked in the wallet, he had a nice stash of currency. I walked back into the bar to watch Kwalus question the rat. More later.
