Batmans Back

Batman Begins starts tonight at midnight it is the story of how Batman came to be. Originally the next film was to be about a huge fight between Batman and Superman. They were fighting over a woman. I'm glad they didn't do that would have just ruined both characters. I like this story, it's a good jump start after the failure of Batman and Robin which seemed like it should been shown on some little kid saturday morning chartoon program.

Well, hey, if you're going to list cast members let's not forget some great actors in other roles.

Gary Oldman: Lt. Gordon

Michael Caine: Alfred

(oh, and it's Christian Bale as Batman)

All I have to say is...

Christian Bale: Batman- Good Idea

Katie Holmes: In any movie doing anything resembling acting- BAD IDEA

She is just a terrible actress...Purely my opinion, but I don't like anything she's done, the movies and/or shows have all been ok but she just ruined them for me...

Now about the New Batman...I think it will turn out fine and be up there with the first two starring the best Batman: KEATON, before he wised up and left the franchise cuz they mucked it up.

Actually Carmine Falcone, who was played by Tom Wilkinson, and Scarecrow is played by Cillian Murphy are two of the villians in Batman. Not to mention Ra's Al Ghul (Who's now pronouced as "Raz" as most people thought) by Ken Wantanabe. All of which did a spectacular job.

And I was one of those special people that caught the premiere of it around here on Monday... and then was naughty and saw it at midnight on Tuesday (Shhh. Don't tell Huff). But the movie was faaaannnntastic, I mean wow, I had to see it again. This film does a tremendous service to Batman, and it's Batman the way he should have been done 16 years ago under Burton.

This is offically my favorite film of 2005 so far. The sets, the fights, the chases, the Villians, and the heroes were all wonderfully done. They cast all the right people for all the right roles, and everyone did very well in them. I could not have asked for a better film. I had very little problems with it, as some of the flaws were just very minimal in my eyes. And don't let the Burton fans dissuade you, this is the film Burton wished he did those years ago. :P

Go see it, it really is worth it. I can't wait till the sequal (As Christopher Noland has a trilogy planned for the Bat films)

And yes, these films are going to reboot the series and try and erase the bad taste that "Batman and Robin" left in people's mouths... so the Batman from before... well, never really happened. We'll just say that was Batman from Earth-2 in the DC Universe. ;)

Batman Begins: 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. Those flaws were small, but kept it from getting that full 5 out of 5, it's still worth it. :)

Okay the film is superb. This was a way for DC comics to try and catch up with with Marvel, and I believe they did marvelously. I think Katie Holmes was great in the role of Racheal. I cant wait for the next Batman film, with the Joker, their making them more like the Comics more like Bob Cane(Creator of Batman comic) wanted them to be. The first four films were as I like to say very badly done previews for this film and the ones to come. I'm glad they got Nolan to come in and get Batman off the walker and teach how to walk again. All the stars save Liam Neeson due to his characters death have all signed on for three more Batman Films. I like this new Batman much more, he yells. Although Scarecrow had a limited role he was scary. I dont think he's dead though, she just shot at him then he rode away. The relationship between Gordan and Batman is how it was meant to be, them actually working together. This film brought out the Batman geek that sufferd a heart attack with Batman Forever, and then died with Batman and Robin. And now the Batman Geek lives again. Oh and Robin will not be brought back, it's just Batman. If you haven't seen the film I'm sorry.

Come on Jerry, any comic book fan would know that you can never truly kill Ra's Al Ghul. He'll be back, mark my words, he'll be back. And you better believe the Lazarus Pit is gonna be involved. ;)

::Wound go into the techincalities of it all, but know's it's too late to do so... ::

True, but I doubt that he'll be in the next film. That would just be a remake of the first one and then it's the Original films all over again. The only things that changed in those films were the villains. I think they should bring him back in the film, for the ultimate show down.

Although the woman didn't like it, I thought this was the best movie I've seen since LOTR. Very well made, and by far the best Batman movie I've seen. ;)
