The "Spaceys" are a series of somewhat satirical awards for the best of science fiction and fantasy television, run by Space: The Imagination Station, which is a Canadian sci-fi/fantasy channel. Nominees for the various categories are proposed, and voted upon, then the winners get presented a nice cement alien head. :P

There are also viewer's choice categories ("Favourite" ones). My votes for those are in italics.

 

The award show just aired today. It was pretty good, low-budget, Space-like. They kept on cutting back to Richard Dean Anderson's "acceptance speech" as he droned on and on about things. . . . :D

Yup, I manage to vote most of the winning results each time :P A buddy im'ed me the short list, but thanks for the extensive review. Missed the Spaceys show.

 

But yeah, Spacecast is pretty much the canadian equivilant of the Sci-Fi channel (moderately close anyways, though Sci-Fi almost always premiers new tv shows by a few months than we get them- we got BSG season 1, 3 months after states)

 

Dang, I dunno who i'm gonna vote for favorite female now, since Enterprise is done. ^_^

Yes, I as well managed to match most of the results.

And the ones I didn't, well, the ones that did win are still worthy XD

However, I don't particularly agree with Sky Captain beating Spider Man.. tsk tsk tsk... of course, that jsut could be because I'm obsessed with Spider Man ... LOL
