"Corrupt Intentions..."

"Corrupt Intentions"

a log by LtJg's McClellan and Westler

<<Backlog - This alternate universe log takes place before Challenger receives orders to pilage Cait from the Emperess>>

Aaron walked down the corridor toward his quarters, having just finished his shift. It was amusing how after 3 months, most of the crewmen and junior officers still squirmed and moved to the other side of the corridor when they saw him. He was known for his rough and sometimes violent attitudes, but the large scar/burn on the left side of his face was what drove them away. Aaron had long ago gotten used to the nasty plasma burn he got as an Engineer, yet the crew hadn't.

He entered his quarters and closed the door, collapsing into a chair by his desk, closing his eyes.

Before Aaron's brain could get a milisecond of rest the vicious and evil doctor McCellan stormed into his quarters and stood by the chair, her hair had grown

to the waist and her face had a dark glow to it. She took in the atmosphere of the room, remembering a vague familiarness to it then walking to the chair,

squeezed Aaron into her arms. Jas looked at the scar on Aaron's face, remembering how terrifying his face looked to the other doctors and how heroic it looked to her.

"You look so handsome with that."

Aaron looked up, unfazed by the fact that someone had just burst into his room. Only he and Jas knew his code, and he felt ok with that.

"3 months and you still say that. You need a new pickup line Doc." He grabbed her and pulled her down on his lap. "So...you make house calls now?"

Jas rolled her eyes then stood up and yawned.

"Sickbay was boring to me to death, everything there has been developed to check if we can make a viable biological weapon. And apparently I'm due for a break, Grey can watch himself fine. You, on the other hand, are less boring."

Aaron stood up and took off his duty jacket, exposing the biggest muscles on the crew. He sighed. "The commander is still not liking my plan."

"Still, I see, Well what can you do about it. It's not like you'd kill him for it."

He looked at her, not showing any emotion, just thinking about what she just said.

"The commander is a wimp in my book. He's being handed command on a plater, but he won't take it." Aaron made a mock baby voice, "He's already in good with the

Commodore and the Fleet." He rolled his eyes. "It disgusts me."

"You should do something about it, you would like to do something about it wouldn't you, it's in your eyes Aaron, I can see it. What he did to you was unforgivable, I could have lost you. Does the commodore think your loyality to him is degrading?"

He looked away for a bit.

"I don't think so babe, he hasn't done anything to me since I got back, and I've been the, *perfect* Tactical Officer." He had mockingly made the quotation gesture with his hands on the word "perfect".

"If he thinks I'm disloyal, I would've already had a date with the pain booth, and Im sure you would have disapproved of me dating someone besides you." He winked, or tried to, and grabbed her hand.

Jas held his hand tightly. "We'll make it through this minor set back, I think starfleet would consider a more rutheless commander in leading its armies. Perhaps, in due time."

Aaron looked up, "But when is that due time? months? years? In years, Moose and Moore can go and change everything the Empire is working for!" He sighed, "Something needs to be done, and soon."

As he said that, the comm panel on his desk turned on, and he was summoned to the bridge. Apparantly new orders had come from the Emperess. Swearing, Aaron stood up and kissed Jas. "Looks like we've got some work to do."

Jas returned the kiss. "Right, I'll see you later"
