Ensign Jake Walker

Nav Officers log, 8 May 2155

Jake awoke to find himself laying on the Challengers transporter floor. A crewperson helped him up and made what Jake thought was a strange comment about his piloting skills after the missile attack. Jake was not fully capable of processing anything about a missle attack because he was suffering the effects of a concussion. Although he had suffered injuries he felt he needed to get to the bridge and see the Commodore. He made his way to the bridge, often catching himself against a bulkhead as the effects of the concussion started to take full effect.

As he entered the bridge he made his way to the Commodore. There was much activity on the bridge so he guessed they were under attack. He approached the Commodore and informed him of what had happened. "Refugees? What are you talking about crewman. Have you been checked out by the Doctor?" the Commodore gruffly asked. Jake informed him that he had come straight from the transporter. Bull ordered him to get checked out by the Doc before returning to the bridge.

As Jake left the bridge he did not noticed how the uniforms of the crew were different (Or his own for that matter). The concussion from the blast was only letting Jake see his new surroundings in a fog. His balance was off and his eyesight slightly blurry. This was probably for the best, for had he not he would have noticed he was not on board the USS Challenger but the ISS Challenger, a front-line cruiser for the Terran Empire's Starfleet which was currently involved in a pillage operation of the Cait homeworld.

They say ignorance is bliss but for Jake his ignorance was what probably kept him alive, or at least out of the pain booth.
