It is my second day of duty and I have become ship-less. I had not even spent the night on board the U.S.S. Arcadia and yet I had a certain bonding to her. Perhaps it is because she was my first commission outside the Academy. I must dispel the illogical notion that I am jinxed, as a crewmate put it. "knock on wood" he said, shortly before realizing how little wood there was to knock on, in the cafe. Nonetheless, despite my Terran upbringing, I can not logically subscribe to their superstitious notions. How once I was pleased to be on an expedition with my new Captain, Moose and First officer, Dacotah in ancient Risan ruins trespassable only to those with the most rare of permission. Now I am quite displeased (perhaps dismayed is a trifle to strong) that, because we failed to discover a particular artifact, that we would see the sabotage and destruction of our ship. How I wish (however illogical) my log could contain account of the welcoming crew, the kind doctor, the constant Terran life-support's frigidness. That, however, is not my lot. As I try to meditate, the images of the NCC-1742 E bursting into forteen trillion three hundred seventy two billion six million twenty thousand and eighty four pieces continually comes to mind. Also the devastation which befell Risa as a result of such an explosion in its atmosphere. I shall try again. I must try again. I must have peace. Surak's words can alone bring solace (indeed comfort) tonight.

Yes and no.

 

If you are saying "Hey, join the Arcadia" or trying to draw attention to something unique for your sim then yes. If you are posting a log then the best place is your ship's section on the message board:
