The Manticore has just finished a battle with a Sovereign

dreadnaught, the Liberator, commanded by the now late

Commodore Lenscher. The Liberator was at the center of a

plot to attack the Federation and shift blame to a foreign

government to bolster the beliefs that humans should no

longer mix with aliens. Manticore was able to protect a

secret meeting of the Federation Council on a deep space

freighter. Both of the ships have been surrounded by Galaxy

class battle cruisers sent by the Council. The Liberator tried to

attack Manticore one last time and has been rendered dead-in-

space by the cruisers and Manticore is mending ship and crew
