I am trying to attend this evening's Academy sim; but I cannot seem to find a working link to the chat room?

 

Any of them I am trying just shows me the main STSF frame page, with a big black box with a red X in it?

 

Is this an issue with your site or is my computer being dumb? (I highly doubt that though, it's new. <_<)

 

Thank you for any answers I may receive in advance. I was really looking forward to trying the Academy out tonight. :D

Did you try the one at the top right of any forum page? And if this is a java problem, I have no clue what's going on. Someone else can take that. In any case, welcome to STSF and have fun...once you can get into the chat, that is. <_<

Well the red X makes it sound like a java problem to me. Depends on what OS your computer's running on, though.

Hope we can fix that problem and you'll be around the Academies soon!

I'm running on Windows XP, if that helps in figuring out what's up with it. This is a new computer (and this is the first time I've tried anything java with it anyway) .. so who knows. <_<

Be sure to check out some of the non-lloann'na (Federation) games here at STSF like the RES Talon and IKC QoB/Lakota, I believe that STSF BluRox runs a Rihannsu Retor (Academy) on every other Monday. We won't bite...well the Kll'inghannsu might. (but that is a matting ritual for the Fvai )

If you have computer problems again just do what I always do. First yell at the computer and then threaten to throw it out of the window. It won't help but it'll make sure you won't end up with a heart attack or stomach problems!

Yes, everything seems to be working now. I can't wait to attend the Academy tomorrow night then. And since it seems there is only one sim on Friday, I know where I'm probably going to whenever I happen to graduate. <_<
