Episode III Advanced Ticket Sales

Ok all you Warsies....and non-Warsies....

In case you haven't been checking daily, advanced ticket sales for Episode III went on sale yesterday. You can buy them online at Movietickets.com, Fandango.com or Moviefone.com. I sort of locked up my computer last night at the end of the Rep sim, cause my daughter was like...Now mom!!...Get them now so we don't miss it! (She loves midnight showings as much as I do).

Sorry Rep folks, by the time I rebooted, you had paused, but hey.....got my tickets...LOL.... I owe you 5 minutes next week! lol

I think its silly..I heard some people are already camped out at theaters waiting for the movie to open.

Funny thing is I'll go to the first showing 30 minutes ahead of time and I'll be sitting next to someone who's been sleeping on the sidewalk for a month. I hope they have a way to shower <_<

Its like the "Harry Potter" event sale they have at bookstores, reserving your own personal copy...for 10% off! Of course they charge 30 bucks for the book. I'll go to Walmart the day it comes out and they'll have hundreds of hardback copies for 15 bucks.

I think people are doing it for the novelty of saying they did it (bragging rights) rather than to actually be the first one in the theatre.

But what was *really* dumb was all those people paying $8 to see the trailers for The Phantom Menace and then not even sticking around to see the movie they paid to see.
