2005 World Series

I wish I had posted this about two weeks ago, but whatever.

 

We are now two weeks into baseball season. It is time to make completely random guesses as to the World Series, just like the sportscasters do. Come October, you can look back here and see how well you did.

 

So who is going to the World Series?

 

I'd say Boston over Atlanta.

I'd like the expos.....er...... I mean Nationals..... to go to the playoffs at least. Don't think that would happen, but you never know.

What's wrong with the D-Backs, Dustin? B)

Nothing wrong with my home state's team, but you have to remember I was born in Southern California so I'm a Laker and Angel fan. (Also a Minnesota Viking fan but thats a long story lol)

 

I do go to quite a few D-Back games though so I suppose they are my National League team. Bank One is a great stadium and I even had a chance to sit in the Luxury Box. (Another long story lol B) )

I also liked when my sister hung a bear wearing a Giants uniform from the stairs. Gosh I love baseball season :P

Hey, the Dodgers are one of the oldest teams in the Majors. They had a long and storied history in Brooklyn before leaving for Los Angeles.

Yeah, don't knock the Diamondbacks. They went against the Yankees in something like their 3rd year of existance and beat them to win the World Series! How many teams can say that?

I was agreeing with you Seiben.

 

Of course you don't go to baseball games to watch baseball. You go to drink beer, eat hot dogs and peanuts, and occasionally do the wave. The game is just something that happens while you're there.
