Rihannsu Fiction

Any Rihannsu fiction lovers here? Can au help out this wretched lloann'na B)

I've read classic Treks Romulan books (My Enemy My Ally, Swordhunt, etc).

Currently looking for TNG "The Romulan Prize."

What about DS9, VOY - any Romulan books written for these series? Or any kind of stand alone Romulan books or maybe even updated role playing books based on the Romulans? I know the last couple years have seen new role playing books.

Thanks :P

Not a major Rihannsu loremaster, here, but... I know there's a set of three VOY books -- Dark Matters -- that have several Romulans central to the plot.

Actually, we do have a Rihannsu sim here in STSF, called the RES Talon. If you take a look through the Talon's Welcome Packet, near the bottom you will find a pretty good list of references, roleplaying games and books that deal with the Rihannsu. I know tRex will be updating it soon as well, but it should give you what you need.

Thanks Col. Harper, BluRox/ T Rex, tr'Vosh and Vex Xiang for the info. And I checked out the link to the Talon reading list...so of course I had to investigate the "T'Rex's Tidbits" LOL!

Thanks all.

Yeah, or you can also always Google it, there's plenty of good sites out there full of Rihannsu informations. Helped me out quite a bit on the Talon myself. B)

For anyone interested:

I'm currently reading a new Trek book "Titan:Taking Wing" by Martin and Mangels which takes place after the events in "Nemesis" - it's a regular Rihannsu fest, lol. Didn't realize they would play such a big role when I purchased the book. I mean, we have Romulan political upheaval, Romulan antics, the works.

Happy Reading whoever. B)

Well, if it makes u feel any better - the novel deals with the aftermath of Shinzon's crazy power play, and most of the Romulans in the novel really don't appreciate him or his aftermath. B)

It was decent entertainment, but I was glad it was the last one. :P

just a word of caution: Be careful using the information from that book in a Rihannsu sim here. Anything based on Nemisis is usually considered "uncannon" in the sims. The Talon launched well before Nemisis was even in pre-development, and they feel that Remus was wrongly depicted. Basically, the fans have a better idea on how the species acts than the crew of the movie.

Unfortunately the movie ruined the race for many fans...but its still canon whether you like it or not <_<. But thats another discussion :D

Haven't we debated this at length...and I think the general conclusion was that Cannon for simming purposes is basically what you chose to make it :D

"Poetic License" in simming aka having fun? <_<

While the Remans are featured in Titan"Taking Wing", the focus mainly (as of halfway thru the book) seems to be on the now reigning Praetor and the Galae Fleet forces.
