Proposed Security Protocols for Listening Post Alp

Re: Proposed Security Protocols for Listening Post Alpha-J

Status: Classified

This is a list of proposed security protocols for Starfleet Listening Post, designated Alpha-J.

First and foremost, it has come to my attention that there are to many people that have knowledge of Alpha-J. To keep it's status secured, knowledge of Alpha-J should be limited to select Security, Engineering and Science personnel.

Secondly, all data about Alpha-J should be deleted from Camelot and USS Excalibur's computer systems, leaving data receiving equipment as the only on ship proof of Alpha-J's existence.

Third, for communication language, I programmed Alpha-J to use an ancient Earth language known as Manx. Being a language known to date by only a few people and a mere 100,000 linguists. How ever High Manx, a dialect known to even fewer was the one I used.

Finally, the Away Team that was sent to construct Alpha-J, knows only a few details of the make up of Alpha-J. This again was my choice. It was made to conserve on the amount of personnel who could be interrogated and give information on Alpha-J.

The measures I am proposing are to secure Alpha-J from the current threat of the renegade Dominion, known as 'The One-Hundred'.
