Trichon

"A Mind is a Terrible thing to Waster" Pt 3

N'Dak strolled in measured steps towards the Cell Trichon was being held in, he'd sealed that area off and made sure that no one was in the remote area, as well as turned off all the recording devices. Finally he made his way to the door and tapped on panel lowering the forcefield. Inside the cell Trichon was fighting back the vestige of a headache that these new memories were giving him. It was like an army of bees buzzing around in his head. "Trichon..."

Trichon looked up at Koshic and grinned, "So whats the plan Dak." He held his head, "You do have a plan right?"

Koshic thought for a few moments, his dark steely eyes fixed on Trichon. "If your guilty, I am going to kill you."

Trichon gave Koshic one of his own looks, "I'm not guilty Koshic. That much I'm sure of. You think I would stage that stroke otherwise."

His voice was flat, lacking emotion. He was scarily placid about all of this and he was conveying a sense of seriousness. "Trichon, I just found out you're twice my age, and fugitive. I don't know what you are capable of."

"Its funny you should say that. I barely know what I'm capable of." He stood up and looked at Koshic, "But if i makes you feel better, I may be older but your still prettier."

Koshic didn't laugh. "Trichon, this is a very serious matter." Koshic was still, despite the reality, the teacher. He was being firm, but not to the point of authorarianism.

"I know Koshic." a serious look spread across Trichons face, "So how are we going to get this info out of my head."

Koshic removed his hands from behind his back. "I am going to see what eactly is going on up there..."

"Now hold on there," Trichon started to back away, "Your not going to do what I think your going to do are you?"

He took a few steps foreward towards Trichon. "You have a better idea?"

Trichon bumped against the wall of the cell, "No, but didnt you tell me you've only done this once?"

Koshic nodded. "Yes well, what's the worst that can happen...I fry your brains?" Koshic didn't smirk, despite the urge.

"Not only mine. You forget Merri's up here too."

"Merri won't have any part of it," Koshic said as he fully entered the cell. "The bond is between my mind and your mind, she'll be out of contact...with both of us."

Trichons slumped down on the bench and nodded his head, "Lets do this."

Koshic nodded and set down next to Trichon. "Turn to face me."

Trichon turned and look Koshic in the eyes, "You mess this up Koshic and I swear I'll tell everyone what your Tatto says."

Koshic extended his hands placing one on Trichons face, spreading his finger accros it. "Trich, If I screw this up, you won't be telling anyone anything... Now give me your other hand..."

Trichon extended his hand to Koshic, "If we mess this up promise me you'll look after Merri."

Koshic only nodded as he took Trichon's hand and placed his against it, palm to palm. "'A'yeh uT Nah'Ya," Koshic said lowly in his native tounge. "One mind, one thought." Koshic opened his mind, and reached for Trichons, walling themselves off from everything else. Their minds were joint.

After a few moments, they appeared in the past, some 60 years ago. "Where are we?"

"We're in your memories...Elasians are...illusion telepaths, much like the Talosians...it allows us to...relive the past."

They were on the planet, the two of them, but for some reason everyone around them milled past them as if they weren't there. A few meters away was a house that seemed vaugley familier to Trichon. He walked towards the house, "I think I remember this place." They walked through the small park on there way towards the house. "I played here."

"That's good..."

He looked back up towards the house, "And this house......" Up ahead, as the two walked foreward, their was some commotion coming from the house. Trichon opened the door too the house and looked around trying to find the source of the noise. There were four males in the room, one of them distinctly Trichon Light, another one very familier to Trichon, and two Jadariens...one a striking version of the Ambassador. "I'll be danmed..."

"I remember this.... This was the day we had to leave." Trichon walked up and looked at the younger version of himself, "We always had to leave." Koshic stood in corner watching.

The older Jadarian was yelling at Trichons father, "You didnt tell me that you were running from them. If I would have known that I would have never let you into my home. The 'ambassador' was standing behind him shaking his head. "Father"

The younger Trichon held onto his fathers hand, "Garrett you know I never had any intention of bringing harm to your family. I just needed some time so I could do my work. Thats why were leaving."

The Ambassador was holding onto something in his left hand which he kept out of view. The 'ambassador' looked visibily upset, "Father dont let them take my friend. Trichon is my friend I dont want him to leave."

The older Trichon looked over at Koshic, "I remember all of this. I know how this is going to end." Koshic watched all of this, soaking it up. He was noting every detail, trying to deciepher it, he held a hand up to Trichon. "Just watch."

The elder Jadarian turned to his son, "You will hold your tounge Jarred. You have no idea of the trouble these two bring," he then turned his attention back to Trichons father, "And you just take you son, and you work and leave, and never return to Jadara or else I'll turn you in myself."

Gary Light nodded slowly, "If thats what you want Garrett I will leave. I dont want to cause any problems for you." he started to walk off and tugged on the young boys hand, "Come now son." Jarred looked horrified.

The young Trichon looked over at Jarred and waved goodbye a look of sadness on his face. The younger Jarred, quickly became filled with rage. He didn't understand why his friend had to leave. "NOOOOO!" The older Trichon looked on with a horrified look in his eyes, "I remember Koshic just make it stop now. I dont want to see this again."

Koshic shook his head. "No..." Koshic looked on, stonefaced.

Trichon looked on as the younger him watched one of the few people he had called friend, plunge a knife in Garrett's chest. The 'ambassador' kept plunging the knife in his fathers chest, "If your dead you cant make Trichon leave. I wont let you father."

Blinking slowly, Koshic lifted his brows. How...convient.

Trichon's overt emotions overwhelemed the link and, just as the 'Ambassador' plunged the knife in for the 17th time. The were back on the Arcadia... Trichon looked over at Koshic, "We dont have to see the rest Koshic. By the time we had pulled Jarred away his father was dead." his head looked towards the floor.

Koshic blinked for a few moments...the swift diconnect had disoriented him. "I know... Those memories are mine now too..."

"My father thought it best if we left and never came back, and I never would have if I had known this."

Koshic sat contimplating for a moment. "Trichon...I need to speak with Moose..."

Trichon nodded, "I need to see Jarred again. Try to reason with him."

Slowly, he removed a sweaty hand from Trichon's face and stood up, outwarly calm and serene. "That's not possible. He think's you half-dead in sickbay."

"Why not?" Trichon was trying to remain calm, "The man is blaming me for his fathers death. It looks like he has some fixation on me."

Koshic stepped back, tapped the button raising the forcefield. "Trust me on this one."

"Wait, I have an idea."

"Yes?"

Trichon grinned, "Do you trust me?"

"Have I ever?"

"No. But whens that stopped us before."
