Best cadet death? My favorite one was with Garnoopy..... who had stuff coming out of his eyes, drooling, and barely able to talk.....

That wasn't the good part. The good part was when Dac blew up the planet that Garnoopy was on, to keep anyone else from getting the disease. :)

This isn't exactly a *death*, but it was my favorite ACTION of all time.  The scene went something like this: I was a CSEC on an academy ship, and there wasn't much need for security.  I started out in the security office and played a modified version of a Monty Python routine with a few NPC ASECs.  After I got bored with that, and *still* no call for security anywhere on the ship, I decided to eat lunch.  I replicated a burger, and put on ketchup and then started eating.

Then, as the first time I was not ignored during the sim (despite the whole other storyline going on in my office), I got an ACTION from FredM that went something like this:

 

Lo'Ami falls to the floor in convulsions.  What he had thought was ketchup was really engineering sealant.

 

I'm still using the last few squeezes of FredM's "ketchup" to douse graduating ensigns.

 

PS - To new players: Following this pattern of play is not a good way to graduate.  In order to graduate, you should interact with the rest of the real people, even if it just means sitting on the bridge and mouthing off a few comments/suggestions.

I have been doused by the "Ketchup" from LoAmi himself. And I use it now, when I have the time to attend an academy sim, and one unlucky cadet is converted into Advanced sim material!

Well my best death had to be the one...err...the many different sims where A9 has the bridge blow up...Well instead of dieing i mysteriously appeared in a padded room where i danced with A9's corpse untill the end of the sim...come to think of it i can help but think that puting me in that padded room has somthing to do with that...oh well if any asks why i was dancing with A9's corpse i'll just say one of the garnoopys told me to.  :)    :)    ::):

Anyway, my favorite death is by default only, as it is my ONLY death.  I was CO of a mission that discovered a new type of black hole.  Our remains entered Federation space a thousand years later.

 

By the way, this is my 190th post.  Ten more and I qualify for the Super Saver discount.

Reminds me of the peanut butter in the US Arny's MREs (Meals, Ready to Eat).  We actually DID use it for engineering sealant!   :dead:

talking about MREs, they got unmeltable chocolate right? what does it taste like? lol whats all in an MRE anyways? I've always wondered since Tremors because that one guy says they cost an arm and a leg

As a firefighter we always carry MRE's on the engine. Some of them are great, some are horrid. And some people have no taste buds and can eat anything.

Best cadet death. Well mine would have been when I was CSCI and we were launched onto a planet. Well we werent killed. We escaped the shi[ exploding. Well I saved a life and thats all that matters. haha
