Merger progress?

I just wanted to check on the progress of the merger talks with STSF.com. The move to bluegrass country is a big thing for all of us. Webby, you said you'd come up with a plan for moving the servers with no downtime. I thought it was posted, but I can't find the topic. Can you provide a link? A9, Have we found a way to inform all the simmers that they will now be required to work on the turf-sod farm? Or, is that a job for PR... opinions, Moose?

 

Plans are already underway to begin the transition. Remember, guys, from here on, all academies and advanced sims must feature turf-sod related themes ... starting with Aegis tonight.

 

Oh, by the way, the "announcement" about STSF NDak... very funny. Sure beats "Admiral Garnoopy" from last year.

Yeah, you like that little bit of pre-emptive April Fools'ing I did with NDak? I especially like the fact that I was able to get one of our Charter members out of retirement to play the part of the new GM. I think I should be congratulated on even tracking down our buddy, Amazing_Wall_of_Nude, to help us out.

 

I guess the joke's on us, though, because he's been doing a really good job as "STSF_NDak" and we're going to start him through the GM training process as soon as possible!

Nope. Not me, although I (or rather my alter ego Van Roy / Dumbass) was accused of it at one time. This was back in the day when startrek.com would only let you use one username at a time so I was able to prove my innocence when we were both in the room.
