The Waiting Game

"The Waiting Game"

Joint Log: t'Aehjae, Deihu S'Bien & Koga S'Bien

SD: 10503.29

t’Aehjae stood on the Oira with the two S’Biens, waiting for the Khre’Riov to finish whatever it was she was doing and open the door.

“Rekhhai I did na know you were related” she said, not looking at the Higher ranking S’Bien.

Deihu S'Bien waited by the Khre'Riov's chambers waiting to be let in, standing with the Dheno lady in the process. He looked over at the officer. "Yes, indeed we are. Koga there is my eldest son" he replied

Koga simply looked up from his console and nodded.

“Deihu he is a good officer indeed

I have worked with him on missions. Au have very right to be proud of him” replied t’A

"Well, I thank you for your vote of confidence on his behalf.. ahh.. Erei Riov" The Deihu said looking at her pips. "And ie. I surely am as any father would"

t’A Still did not look to the man

T'Keshi either didn't seen to notice or care that she wasn't looking at him directly. Probably due t high rank, Deihu S'Bien was widely regarded was one of the most intimidating men in the Empire.

“:The Khre Riov must be busy with something very important.. My Apologies for keeping au waiting here. May I get au something to drink while we wait?” t’Aejhae said partially bowing to him.

"Sure, a glass of ale would be nice" he said. "I can summon my aide to get it, unless au have someone else in mind?" replies the Deihu.

The Elder S'Bien walked over to a railing and leaned on it for support. Inwardly though, wishing he had a place to sit. He thought cursing the designs of Rihannsu Oiras with only one seat.

T’Aejhae bows again”I will get it for Au Rekhhai” she said and turns quickly on her heels heading for a replicator.

tA quickly gets the Ale and returns back to the Deihu “My apologies for taking so long Rekhhai… I hope this is to Aus satisfaction” she bows handing him the mug eyes looking to the ground.

"No problem. And thank you" he said receivng the drink from the t'A. "So you're in Dheno, eh? Destorie's department. A good lad he is, albeit uptight . Does he keep a good department?"

Hans Seiben: he asked whilst waiting for the Khre'Riov to open the door.

T’Aejhae stands straight again still na looking up “Ie Rekhhai. I am a dheno, and am under the control of Erei Riov NDak” she says and stops there with the trouble that he and she have been having….

T’Aejhae slightly looks over to SBein Jr wondering how to get away from this line of conversation.

Deihu S'Bien nodded reflectively as he took a sip of his replicated ale. "I see. I've known his father for many years. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree"

Koga looked up briefly, sensing that he should do the gentlemanly thing and bail t'Aejhae out of this. "The Khre'Riov will be ready to receive au shortly, Father" Koga replied, hoping to change the subject.

T’A stood there not answering not knowing NDak’s father, then figures she better answer with something before she insults the Deihu ” As au state Rekhhai”

T’Aejhae begins to quiver in fear having to entertain the Deihu for so long

"Menkha" the Deihu replies to his son, and on a lesser extent to t'A. "Au must be wondering why I'm here, ie?" he asked of them both.

T’A looks up then back down again afraid to answer

Koga shrugged a little bit. "Sort of" he replies.

"Well, anyways.. to make a long story short, a terrorist organisation has stolen a top-secret and highly destructive prototype called EPSILON. I, along with four others in the Rihannsu government were it's brainchild,

“Three were y'yya in an explosion in the Imperial Senate Compound in the Capital city. This leaves me as the sole survivor. Happily, they do not know I'm still alive, but I do wish to stop these people from using it against us.”

“Am I priviy to this information Rekhhai? or shall I stand aside” t’Aejhae asked in a shaky voice.

"Yes of course, offficer. I shall soon make this information known to the rest of your crew. It doesn't matter if au two know it before the others" he said dismissively

“ Ie Rekhhai” replied t’Aejhae simply.

Though he didn't show it, the Deihu was intrigued as to the Dheno Officer's quiet and submissive attitute. What kind of operation does Destorie and the Talon Command Staff run here? He thought to himself.

T’Aejhae was now even more nervous than before. “I will Inform NDak that au require a full time Dheno for aus own protection”

"I thank you, officer" said the Deihu. "Ie, my safety remains in jeopardy until whoever is responsible is brought to justice" he says somberly.

Koga's console beeps quietly. Tapping it, he looks up at his father and t'Aejhae. "Right then, the Khre'Riov is ready to see au now" he replies.

“I will relay the message to NDak that Au will need his best Dheno. He may wish to take the post himself Rekhhai” said t’A and steps up to the door once again.

"So noted" replies T'Keshi. "But I suppose it matters not as to who I get"

t’A and Deihu S’Bien stood up and walked over to the door, which began to open.
