Tickets booked, room tentatively reserved, I am READY! I think Huff has a pretty good *schedule of events* going on. Sleep late, pool, nerd entertainment, pool, some food, some drinks, more nerd enterainment, find my bed.

 

The applications for Offical STSF Cabana Boy are now open [you have to be attending SLW] since Sketti has informed me that he won't be able to make it this year. ::sniff:: Blu, Huff, and I will be making the selection. So put on your best game face and strut your stuff! or not ;)

Ok...just a few excerpts from the menu..but important ones....There's more meat too, but I just pulled some of the fun stuff!

 

Blue Crabs!! Shrimp!! Meat for the non-crab eaters!! MOJO BONES!

(gotta have our Mojo somehow), Chocolate, Key Lime Pie and Coffee!

 

So...I've chosen the location, it's moderately priced to allow for everyone's budget, and.....it's not too far from the pool!

BIG BLUE CRAB DELIGHT - A treasure from the sea.

Our creamy, homemade dip is loaded with tender crabmeat and served with crispy tortilla chips for dipping.

 

MOJO BONES -

A full rack of slow-roasted pork ribs, basted with our Smokin' Mojo BBQ sauce and served with cole slaw and Safari fries. Half Rack Available

 

PRIMAL STEAK -

14 oz. center-cut, choice New York strip steak, aged 21 days, char-broiled and served with red skinned garlic mashed potatoes, and Napa vegetables. Pair it up with five grilled shrimp.

 

CYCLONE CRAB CAKES -

Two of our famous boiled crab cakes, made with tender lump crabmeat, garnished with lemon butter and Spicy Safari sauce.

 

CARIBBEAN COCONUT SHRIMP -

A taste of the islands. Tender shrimp rolled in fresh coconut and fried to a golden brown, served with a sweet mango sauce.

 

MONSOON GRILL -

A whirlwind mix of our Brazil's Best Fish, Cyclone Crab Cake, and Caribbean Coconut Shrimp.

 

STUFFED MAINE LOBSTER -

Maine lobster half filled with our succulent crabmeat stuffing and paired with six broiled shrimp.

 

ALASKAN KING CRAB LEGS -

Sweet and tender, steamed to perfection and served with drawn butter.

 

NILE SHRIMP ENBROCHETTE -

Jumbo shrimp stuffed with succulent crabmeat, our four cheese blend, wrapped in bacon then broiled to a crisp golden brown.

 

CHOCOLATE DIABLO CAKE -

Dark chocolate cake layered with rich chocolate filling, served with raspberry sauce and fresh whipped cream.

 

CAPTAIN'S CHOICE KEY LIME PIE -

Traditional key lime pie baked in a graham cracker crust, served with raspberry sauce and fresh whipped cream.

 

SPARKLING VOLCANO(A feeding frenzy! Enough for two or more!) -

A giant rich, chocolate brownie cake stacked up high, served warm with vanilla ice cream, fresh whipped cream, and topped with caramel and chocolate sauces.

Since we're tooting our own horns ... Cabana Time with Dac at the MGM will be Saturday afternoon immediately following Breakfast with Huff -- or maybe it will be lunch with Huff in the Cabana.

 

You'll have to find me to find out which cabana we'll be holding court in, or ask Huff on one of her numerous trips by on the lazy river. :blink:
