To the Hood and back.

Security officers log, Stardate 0503.08:

 

We beamed over to the Hood and started to initiate the repairs to their damage engines. Some of the crew were suspicious of our presence, so Hod Bch got into their computer and planted false names and assignments for the away team. We split up into teams and finished the repairs. Unfortunately, the chief of security, a very nosey Vulcan figured out that our away team wasn't a part of the Hood crew. He called me away from guarding the door to engineering to his office for "phaser targeting tests". Before I could grab the phaser, he got me in one of those sneaky Vulcan nerve pinches. When I awoke, Qel La Tag was standing over me. He informed me that our mission had been compromised and the crew of the Hood had been gassed with Anestazine. He told me that the only Hood crew not gassed were the Hood's Random and the pig chief engineer, of course he meant the Tellerite. I contacted Bch and got our status. She ordered me to keep an eye out for the Tellerite and to make sure the crew stays asleep. I grabbed a few hypo's of tranquilizer from the Qel. On the way down the corridor, I realized that the Vulcans were much stronger than Humans. So, I went back to security and hypo'd the cheif engineer and his assistant, who appeared to be at least part Vulcan. Bch called me and ordered me to the bridge, she informed me that they couldn't get the main doors to engineering open. It seems that someone had hit the emergency locks. I climbed an accessway to the bridge and checked the command crew, who were still sleeping. I tried everything I could to get manual overide of the antique computer system, but no luck. I heard a moan behind me, Captain Huff was regaining conciousness. To my horror, more of the bridge crew were waking up. I put my hand on my phaser and counted the people on the bridge, too many to stun. So, I snuck over to the accessway and made my way back to engineering. When I got down to the engineering deck, I couldn't get through the door, I heard shouting and running on the other side. Above me I could hear the Vulcan security officer giving orders to search all decks. I started climbing down further till I reached the lower decks of the secondary hull. I knew the manifolds were there and if I could reach them, I could try to knock out the ships power. I called Bch, but she didn't answer. I hoped she hadn't been captured. I called the Qob and informed Rawl Kwalus that the mission had been comprimised. She ordered me to stay hidden till they could beam us out. I ducked into an alcove and waited. I felt the usual shimmer as my body was disassembled and reassembled back on the Qob. I went to the Meh and checked our status. There was a heated discussion of what we should do next. Bch ordered that all non human away team members report to sickbay and have there true features returned. I had my tail, teeth, face, paws and fur restored by a very understanding Qel. We returned to the Meh and it was decided that the command crew of the Hood be transported to the Qob and told the truth. Messner and Bch ordered me to have a security team standing by, just in case. I called in four men, one for each corner of the meeting room. The Hood's command crew were beamed over, they were quite confused and upset. Bch and Kwalus offered them bloodwine and explained the situation. Captain Huff understood, and agreed to cooperate with the Qob on returning the timeline back to normal. They were beamed back to the Hood, and we started prepairing for the temporal jump. Bch announced to the suprise of the entire crew that she was making Lt Sg Messner Hod of the ship and taking the XO position, Rawl Kwalus moved to the ops position and I was made chief security officer.
