I would like to see Enterprise run for three more seasons, then I think Star Trek should take some time off.

As I said when DS9 came out, Voyager came out, and when Enterprise came out, lets see another show set in the TOS period :)

I think they should do an Enterprise-B series. We know very little about that era.

Word. **Thumbs Up**

I have enjoyed ENT since the debut, but I wouldn't mind seeing a fresh start.

I think they should save it, at least for a couple years. I think that the problem with ENT was that they started to early in the period, and tried to show Enterprise exploring by itself, when they should have been focusing on the things their getting to this season. The Romulans, Andorians, the forming of the Federation, and other things that this series was basicaly created to show us.

Instead the brothers ruined this series by spending an entire season on the Xindi, who are now aparently friends with the federation, and even serve on ships. (It made no sense to create and entire area of space, and a race of people, even though the expanse no longer exists, it raises the question "where are the Xindi now?") I'm personally pissed at those two. Season three was probably their last chance, seeing as how if ratings had gone up then, like they are now, showing the shows we really want to see, combined with a then sucessful season 4 may have saved ENT, but they ****ed it all up.

Regardless of what happens to Enterprise, I think they need to take a couple years off, and come up with something new and fresh. Not just a new era show where they can explain and at the sametime destroy important cannon information. That was one other problem I saw with Enterprise. I think the first 2 1/2 seasons sucked because they really didn't know what to do. I think they rushed the series because they felt they had to follow Voyager up right away. Maybe they thought if fans went without Trek for a while, the mainstream group would not be intrested when a new series rolled along.

Oh, and for any one that saw last weeks episode, the plot was fine, but the idea of Reed being a spy was just stupid.

ACTION: We trasport to Paramounts headquarters

Moron 1: Hey, since ENT is going down the drain anyway, lets have someone be a spy, and obscurly mention section 31!

Moron 2: Thats a great idea!

Moron 3: Lets throw Klingons in too!!!

Let Trek die all together, do we really need it?

Yes, but we could say the same about the Tellarites and Andorians. How often did we see them after TOS? Heck, how often did we see them in TOS? Very rarely. Tellarites have not been seen since "Journey to Babel", nor have the Andorians, I believe. Nor the Orion nor the Rigellians.

You people are so harsh.

Yes, there were some problems with some episodes. Name any series where there aren't.

But over all, Star Trek is fun. New Star Trek shows on TV are fun. And not having new episodes on TV is not fun.

Fun ... not fun.

It seems like an easy choice to me. Seasons 3 and 4 were fun. I will miss the show.

Gimme something that deals with people. Maybe its time for a show to stop focussing on the captains and commanders? One of my favourite episodes in TNG was the one seen from the view of the lower officers. I just know though that if they created a show set in the academy it would be Dawson's Creek with phasers.

I think it might be interesting to do a show about say the S.C.E. The Starfleet Corps of Engineers could do alot of things.

Another idea is say...have an event like voyager that kills the entire senior staff of a ship, and a new group of young kids have to take over until replacements are arrived. There is tons of character development that could happen. These would be people with only 2 or 3 years experience running the ship...

I think we could go on and on about ideas...All that matters, is what they decide will please us fans the most.

My 10 cents,

Dr. Smith

Read The Captain's Daughter. I always thought that would make an awesome pilot for an Enterprise B series.

Naah, Starfleet would just send replacements unless it was like voyager when it was on the edge of space. I like the engineers idea because it takes the focus of command but the youngin's taking over, hmmmmmm. You could also do medical but it would be like most the other medical shows on the air. I think the academy or a movie era is the golden area they'll try to attack and I mean attack until B and B hand in their retirement forms.

If they wanted to do something like the USS Valiant, and base a series around cadets who were unexpectedly thust into command positions, it could work. The producers would have to take great pains to avoid it turning into a 90210 in space, but it could be done. I don't think B&B would be up to it though.

But let us say the "worst" scenerio happened and we had to live without new Trek episodes for 7 years or so. It would not mean the death of the franchise. A full 7 years past between TOS and TAS (which was nominated for Emmys, by the way) and another 7 years between TAS and TMP so don't even say a 7-year hiatus wound be the end of the franchise.

i think im not quite sure but somthing in me is saying that the new ship in voyage home was enterprise A i cant remember.

yeah i was jsut joking, so yeah lets have an enterprise b sereis BUT i thik that we should stay within the current timlines of trek, do move any wars forward or back in time like ENT did
