Oh there's also Whistler, BC, Mont Temblant in Quebec and many other places with good boarding weather for still quite a long time. One of perks of living in a country with only two seasons. :)

I dunno about Black Comb. I've already been there, and I didn't like it.

Are your friends American? Yeah I thought so!  What do they know?  :) The legal drinking age in Canada is 19, only Quebec and Nova Scotia's bars have an age limit of 18.

Last I checked Alberta and Manatoba also have a legal drinking age of 18. As for alberta stop points I would agree with the west Edmonton mall. If it summer time and your at calgary there is Calaway park it you want amusement rides or if your there the same week as the Calgary stampede you might want to check that out.

Oh.. Manitoba too, eh? I really am an ignorant Torontonian, eh? Gee.. lol. And I agree on the Stampede too.. If you're into that kinda stuff it really is quite entertaining. :)

I can only recommend to avoid Quebec at all costs. If you are english, and enter certain parts of the provience. You are not welcomed, you are the enemy of the state, as defined by Bill 101. English service is not possible within all parts of the provience, and the locals do take pride in this fact. One of the reasons why I am online so much, is since it gives me a connection to a community that I can speak with, without the "quois" which you will face, if you come here. If you want to not even be able to order a cheeseburger at Mc Donalds, or Beer at a bar. Then please come to Quebec. Otherwise, avoid it.

It depends on where you go, Montreal isn't like that at all, Quebec city can be but not really. Before you start saying you don't know, I used to live in Montreal and I visit it frequently so I do know.

Canadian money is cool. I like the toonies, two dollar coins. You'd be surprised how nice the Quebecers are after you hand them a few for a tip. And if you want to know what warp speed really feels like, take a ride in one of their taxis.

that reminds me...

one of my favorite tricks involves a Canadian $5 bill.

Take a sharpie and make the guy look like Spock.

and then on the back you can pretend your Madden.

I saw Mike Meyers do that on Conan awhile ago. I think they have a picture of it on NBC's Conan site.

Canada has a CIA? Whoa. They are more 'on top of things' than I thought. :P

Yeah, infact my great uncle used to work for them during the coldwar as a spy which is the only reason Seiben knows that they exist :o

This agency is actually relatively new, the intellegence used to be done by the RCMP but since the RCMP were becoming over run with other duties it was felt needed that they needed to create a new intelligence orangization.
