Security officers log, Stardate 0502.09:

 

The Starfleet vessel has stopped, orbiting a small planet. Bch has decided we're to take a boarding party over to repair the Hood's engine's and then take it into the time portal with us, returning it to it's own place in time and space. The boarding party will consist of myself, Van Roy, Koralev, Random, and Bch. The only one of us who is human is Koralev so the rest of us had to be surgically altered to look human. Van Roy and I could've have gotten away with our looks seeing as Caitians and Vulcans were in Starfleet at the time. But, they were few and far between and the Hood had a Vulcan security chief, and a Caitian doctor. Bch on the other hand had to get the alterations for obvious reasons. The Klingon Empire and the Federation were deep in war at that time in history. We reported to sickbay and the alterations were done. I groaned at the loss of my fur and my tail, but the Qel informed me that I would be restored to normal after the mission. Angie and Lagh Sargh replicated the proper uniforms and equipment we would need for the boarding party and we got ourselves ready. Angie giggled when she saw me saying I looked Chinese. I looked in the mirror and realized that my human features, mixed with the remaining Caitian made me look slightly oriental. I hope this mission goes well, I don't like time travel and I don't like not having my fur, tail and teeth. I don't know how these humanoids can eat with these dull teeth. More later.
