Captain's Personal Log

Stardate 0303.06

Captain Frederic Meve

Small. Cramped. Ugly. All those words described what Frederic Meve now saw before him. Since his assignment to Sky Harbor Aegis he had never actually toured this section of the ship. In fact, he hadn't seen the point. Staring around the brig cell of the Pandora's Box, he tilted his head every so slightly, "The person who designed this must have done the planning of dorms at Starfleet Academy."

It had been twelve hours since he had, according to reports, attempted to break Doctor Jone's nose, shoot half of the security staff and fight back some mutiny he swore was going on. All in the days work of an Andorian...well...one that had clearly lost his marbles. Thinking back, he knew that at one point he had prayed for the Borg to return and assimilate the rest of the El-Aurian culture. Had he really said that?

As the Pandora's Box sat at the edge of the Cardassian System, no closer to figuring out the answers to the major questions on everyone's mind, Captain Frederic Meve sat in the brig. On the other side of the force field were several members of the medical staff and several members of security. He couldn't blame the extra protection, after all he had apparently caused some rather serious injuries to Lieutenant Quark.

Yet that was not the topic of discussion at the moment, in fact it was something a lot more positive. The medication given to the Captain seemed to be working and holding back the effects of the odd particles floating around in the Cardassian system. The situation had been explained to Meve, who in turn had grown annoyed at the fact no progress had been made with the investigation. His annoyance had prompted another series of tests and more delays in his release.

Finally, after twenty minutes of discussion, the Captain finally approached the forcefield and cleared his throat. "I know you may think I'm crazy, nuts and out of my mind. In six hours you may be right. But right now, in addition to all of that, I'm on a ship who is supposed to be figuring out why Cardassia Prime didn't explode, why there are strange particles in the system and why we're having to ask why! So...until that changes...could I get back to work", he asked in the calmest voice he could muster.

Praying to the Great Spirit, Meve only hoped another series of tests wouldn't follow the request. For one, even feeling pretty much like himself, the Andorian had suffered enough blood draws for one lifetime.
