“Stream of Consiousness” :P

 

A million thoughts were flying around in Sam’s head. This was usually the case, but more so now that he couldn’t see and had nothing to pay attention to. The theme of all the scatter-brained-ness was solutions. He didn’t like the fact that they were in the middle of an OBVIOUSLY dangerous situation, and no one was really looking to do something. Everyone was just sitting around going “hum, this is freaky…hum…uh”. On top of that, all of the doctors were mistaking his drive and concern for unstable franticness. He knew he had to get out of this blasted sickbay and do something!

 

Some people entered sickbay…”Trichon”…where had he heard that name… After turning it over in his mind, it came to him: Lt Cmdr Trichon Light was the Chief Engineer of Arcadia. Ok…Sam was glad he remembered, back to solutions.

 

Hey! Chief Engineer, someone who could actually do something! And had a high rank! Sam tuned his ears; it seemed as if Lt Cmdr Light was with someone of some importance, and tending to them. Sam didn’t really wanna break that up, after all he was a lowly ensign. Where was Dr. Porter?? She was his best bet to getting this engineer’s attention.

 

Sam forgot his state for a second and tried to look around for Dr. Porter…crap, still blind. “Uh, can anyone here me…Dr. Porter?”
